The Recon Sled L.C.V. (Low Crawl Vehicle) has never been a favorite of
mine. The driver has to be in a prone position to operate the vehicle, and
that just looks weird. There's a small periscope on the windshield, so the
operator can see in front of him/her. The front wheels are some sort of
all-terrain crawler-thing. The rear wheel is pretty normal and has a rubber
tire. Weapons consist of two side mounted machine-guns on the front, and a
mini-gattling gun on the back. I guess this vehicle would have some use in
covert operations or areas with low ceilings, but it doesn't seem like a
vehicle that would last long on an open battlefield. On the plus side, it's
molded in realistic colors. |
